Terms of Service

SynkApp — Version 1.0 | Effective date: July 2026

Summary: By creating an account or using SynkApp, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. You must be at least 16 years old. You own your business data; we provide the service that stores and syncs it.

1. Acceptance of Terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the SynkApp application and related services (the "Service"), operated by Wilkora("we", "us"). By creating an account, signing in, or otherwise using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years old to create an account. By registering, you confirm that you meet this minimum age requirement and that the information you provide is accurate.

3. Description of the Service

SynkApp is a business management application (point of sale, inventory, orders, recipes, delivery, and related modules) that works offline-first and synchronises data to the cloud when connected. Some features (online payments, AI-assisted content, cloud search) depend on third-party services described in our Privacy Policy.

4. Accounts and Workspaces

  • You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials.
  • You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account, including data entered by staff or collaborators you invite to a workspace.
  • A workspace owner who is the sole owner of a workspace with other members must transfer ownership or remove those members before deleting their account, so that collaborators are not locked out unexpectedly.
  • You may use the app without an account in offline mode; data stays on your device only.

5. Subscriptions and Payments

Some workspace features require a paid subscription, billed via Stripe Billing. Subscription terms (price, billing cycle, cancellation) are presented at checkout. Where SynkApp enables merchants to accept payments from their own customers via Stripe Connect, SynkApp is not a party to that transaction — funds flow directly between the customer and the merchant's connected Stripe account.

6. Your Content and Data

You retain all rights to the business data you create in the app (inventory, recipes, orders, customer records, etc.). You grant us a limited license to store, process, and synchronise this data solely to provide the Service. We do not sell your data or use it for advertising.

7. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of applicable regulations.
  • Attempt to bypass, disable, or interfere with security features (App Check, Play Integrity).
  • Reverse-engineer, decompile, or resell the Service without authorization.
  • Upload content that infringes the rights of others or is fraudulent (e.g. falsified fiscal data).

8. Account Deletion

You can request deletion of your account at any time from the app (Sign out → Delete account and cloud data). Your account enters a 30-day grace period during which you can restore it by simply signing in again. After the grace period, we permanently delete your account and associated personal data. Fiscal/financial documents (e.g. sales receipts, payment records) that we are legally required to retain are anonymised (personal identifiers removed) rather than deleted, per Section 5 of our Privacy Policy. If you are the sole owner of a shared workspace, you must transfer ownership or delete that workspace before your account can be deleted. See our Account Deletion page for the full process, including a web-based request option.

9. Termination

We may suspend or terminate access to the Service if you violate these Terms, engage in fraudulent activity, or if required by law. You may stop using the Service at any time.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not guarantee the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that fiscal hardware integrations will always be available.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Wilkora shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or loss of profits, revenue, or data, arising from your use of the Service.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Romania, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer-protection rights you may have under the law of your country of residence.

13. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will ask you to review and re-accept them the next time you sign in. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
